Joshua Dillon has signed a National Letter of Intent to play soccer for the St. John’s University men’s soccer program.  He is the first college commitment for our 94 AYSES Gold team and a good sign of things to come for our other players who want to play college soccer as a next step in their soccer journey.  Josh Dillon’s signing is highlighted in ESPN RISE today.

Tony Santibanez has committed to Furman University.  Furman is in NCAA Division I and plays in the Southern Conference.  Clint Dempsey played for Furman University before he turned professional.  Furman University is a private liberal arts college located in Greenville, South Carolina.  Furman has a rich tradition in NCAA sports and academic excellence.

Phillip Lassiter has committed to Florida Southern College.  Florida Southern plays in NCAA Division II in the Sunshine State Conference.  Florida Southern has a deep athletic tradition with 27 Division II NCAA Championships and has been recognized by the NCAA for 5 years in a row for having a team GPA above 3.0.  Florida Southern’s team GPA last year was 3.3 placing it at the top of the NCAA Academic award rankings.

4th AYSES 94 Gold soccer team member has committed to play college soccer. Jordan Koeppe has verbally committed to play for the Dallas Baptist University men’s soccer program which plays in the NCAA Division II Heartland Conference. The Dallas Baptist University men’s Patriots soccer program is coached by Chris Crawford.  Coach Crawford attended many of the AYSES games including the Disney Showcase, FC Dallas Showcase, Dallas Cup and a Classic League Division I game last fall. He is very interested in AYSES players and the pedigree of players coming out from our AYSES Soccer Club program.  Jordan is our first AYSES Soccer Club signee with this University to play college soccer.  Congratulations Jordan! Jordan has been selected multiple years on the “All State” team with High School soccer. Jordan played for "Tatu" at the Prince of Peace Christian School. Jordan’s commitment on ESPN RISE men’s college commitments list has been posted. 

I am pleased to announce a 5th AYSES 94 Gold soccer team member has committed to play college soccer. Kenneth Santibanez has committed to play for the Southern Methodist University (SMU) men’s soccer program for the 2012 season which plays in the NCAA Division I. The SMU men’s Mustangs soccer program Head Coach is Tim McClements.  Coach McClements and Assistant Coach Kevin Hudson attended many of the AYSES games including the Disney Showcase, FC Dallas Showcase, and Dallas Cup and visited our AYSES Soccer Club facility this spring to watch our AYSES 94 Gold team practice. The SMU coaches have been very interested in AYSES players and the pedigree of players coming out from our AYSES Soccer Club program.   Kenneth played High School soccer for the Allen High School and is an excellent student.  Kenneth’s official commitment is on ESPN RISE men’s college commitments list.  Congratulations Kenneth!

Jordan Rubel has committed to play for the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) men’s soccer program for the 2012 season which plays in the NCAA Division III. The UTD men’s Comets soccer program Head Coach is Jack Peel.  Coach Peel and Assistant Coach Jason Hirsch attended many of the AYSES games including the Disney Showcase, FC Dallas Showcase, Dallas Cup and Coach Teel and his wife came to watch Jordan play in a McKinney Boyd High School game at the McKinney Boyd campus. The UTD coaches have been very interested in AYSES players and the pedigree of players coming out from our AYSES Soccer Club program.   Jordan played High School soccer for the McKinney Boyd High School Bronco’s, was a Team Captain, and was selected as the Most Valuable Player in District 10-5A and the All State Tournament team for his senior season.  Jordan is an excellent student who plans to major in engineering.  Jordan’s official commitment is on ESPN RISE men’s college commitments list.  Congratulations Jordan!! 

January 21, 2012 - AYSES 94 Boys Gold has been accepted to play in Dallas Cup XXXIII to be played April 1 through 8, 2012.  It is quite an honor and icing on the cake for our boys.  Dallas Cup is by most accounts the most prestigious tournament in the country and the world.  Very few North Texas clubs get to participate.  AYSES Soccer Club, parents, players and fans are all proud that the accomplishment of the AYSES 94 Boys Gold has allowed us the opportunity.
