North Texas Players Visit Germany
Result of AYSES SC and SFC Kaiserslautern Partnership
As a result of the partnership between AYSES Soccer Club and SFC Kaiserslautern, the development academy for FC Kaiserslautern and the Germany Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim, seventeen players will be touring Germany for a ten day visit. They will depart Dallas June 3, 2015 and return June 14, 2015. The trip will allow the players to practice at both Kaiserslautern and Hoffenheim and train with some of the best youth coaches at one of the top German youth development programs. In addition to all the, they will also have an opportunity to experience the German culture.
The travelling players are from multiple Texas soccer clubs, among them AYSES Soccer Club, Dallas Texans Soccer Club and FC Dallas Soccer Club.
The visit has been setup to where the players are paired with German families in order to maximize the experience of the visit. This arrangement makes it possible for the players to travel at the coast of just the airline ticket and spending money they will need while there. Food and accommodation will be covered.
Fifteen youth players from Germany will also be visiting the US for ten days as a result of the partnership. While in the US, the players will participate in the SFC Kaiserslautern Camp to be help at the Fairview Soccer Complex, McKinney, Texas. The camp will be from June 22 through 25 and will allow the players to train with their counterparts in the US. The German players will also stay with US families in order to fully experience the US culture. The players will have the opportunity to visit Mesquite Rodeo among other places.
The upcoming SFC Kaiserslautern Camp to be held June 22 through 25, 2015 at the Fairview Soccer Park will again used to determine players travelling to Germany for the next trip (date to be confirmed soon). All participating players will be eligible and only camp participants will be selected to travel.
This is just part of the relationship agreement AYSES Soccer Club and SFC Kaiserslautern. The other part of the agreement is for AYSES coaches to travel to for advanced coaching training, and for Germany coaches to travel to the US for camps and training of AYSES coaches.
