The AYSES 99 Gold boy’s team demonstrated how hard work, determination and working together pays off by winning the Boys U17 Championship at the Texas Winter Classic. With a roster of only 14 players they finished bracket play against teams from Missouri, Kansas and Texas with one win and two ties.  Meeting the Kansas City team again in the finals resulted in a shut out of 2-0. Many of the players played the entire tournament with no substitution breaks. Sore, battered and bruised, the boys showed what it truly means to be a champion.
