AYSES Academy is for Boys and Girls 7 through 10 years of age.

For us, the word "Development" means exactly that.  We are truly committed to it because we want our players to become the best they can be. We therefore spend hours helping them build the fundamentals of the game because it is the foundation from which you build the rest of their playing abilities. Our goal is to ensure that each one of our players has the tools necessary to take them as far as they can with the game of soccer.

The first step is that they learn to manipulate the ball (direct it where they want it to go).  The second is that they learn to receive it (air or ground ball), and the third is that they learn to pass and shoot.  Those are the fundamentals of the game. From there we teach them how to make decisions when they are in possession of the ball, and when they are not. This includes when to pass, shoot and dribble, and how to position themselves relative to their surroundings. We also teach them to communicate.

The order is important because without the fundamentals, emphasizing the rest is a waste of time for the most part.  Imagine a team where players are in the right position but do not have the ability to move the ball amongst themselves.
