The 94 Boys Gold team coached by Sammy Olali participated in the 2010 CASL Boys College Showcase Tournament held in Raleigh, North Carolina and put up a dominating performance by winning all its four games. The team won against Albertson FC Roma Academy from New York by a score of 5 to 1 in their first game. They then went on to beat a physical Michigan Jaguars 94 Green by a score of 3-1 before capping off a tremendous performance by winning 4-1 against South Carolina United FC Elite.
The tournament was well attended by many college coaches and was an opportunity for the players to showcase their talent. This is one of several tournaments that the 94 Boys Gold team will be attending as they wind down their select soccer life and look to attending college.
