AYSES 94 Boys Gold won the U19 Gold Division of the Plano Labor Day Tournament, beating teams from multiple states and eventually winning the championship game 2-0. To get to the championship game, the team had to play against CABJ Boca Juniors in the semi-finals, a team that had beaten them 2-1 in the bracket stage. It was without a doubt the toughest game of the tournament for the 94 Gold team. The final result was 3-2. The Gold team was leading 3-0, only for CABJ Boca Juniors to score two goals in the last minutes of the game. It was a great game by both teams.
Other AYSES teams that did well in the tournament were, the 98 Gold team that lost in the semi-finals of the Gold Division, the 95 Boys Gold that lost on penalty kicks in the semi-finals, and the 95 Boys White that lost in the Quarter-finals in overtime. It was a fantastic performance by all those teams.
