2009 Texas Winter Classic tournament was a huge success with a record number of teams participating.  Thanks to all the organizers and volunteers who spend many hours of their time and effort to make it happen.

Despite the wind, the tournament was a blast.  The games started on time and there were some incredible games throughout the tournament.  It was good to see smiles in faces of players.

As with all previous tournaments, top teams from all clubs participated, with teams coming as far as Nebraska.  As the tournament reputation grows, we hope the trend to attract teams from out of state continues.

Thanks to all the teams that participated.  We look forward to your participation in the 2009 Texas Summer Classic.  The tournament will be August 14 through 16.  We know that with every tournament there is room for improvement, and as with all our tournaments, we will evaluate the last tournament and look at areas we need to do better. 

The AYSES Soccer Complex will be one of the venues for the 2009 Texas Summer Classic.  We look forward to hosting teams at our new soccer complex.

2009 Texas Winter Classic turned out to have record number of teams.  With 174 teams, it was the largest tournament the club has hosted so far.
